Family Visits: Old Town Santa Fe

After enjoying Old Town Albuquerque, we couldn't get enough of the culture and history, so we took a spontaneous drive to Old Town Santa Fe where were REALLY learned a lot!

Though we may not be Catholic, we still had a lot of appreciation for the beautiful buildings that are meant to bring people closer to God.

Chris and I really lucked out as Thing 1 and Thing 2 sandwiched themselves next to their cousin for the 45 minute one-way drive to the state capitol. Andi didn't really know what to think...

Standing in front of the "Oldest House in America!"

Seth couldn't get enough of this skeleton of Juan Espinoza and his tragic love story that made him lose his head. Read more of his sad tale from another traveler.

Chillin' with Ryan, Mindy and Andilyn as we take in all the historical sites!

It was so pretty there I almost began to frolic around like a little birdy! Oh, wait. Looks like St. Francis of Assisi already beat me to it. Or his statue did anyway...
