Which is exactly what we did with some Playgroup friends last week during an extremely blustery day.In a sense, it was a bit of redemption for me to go to Blast Off that day. Seth was invited to a joint birthday party there last week, and I totally forgot about it (after multiple reminders...thanks Jen!) until I went to bed that night. Seth didn't know the day's scheduled itinerary, so I was forgiven. ;)
The play area provided all sorts of fun variety from trucks, to dress-up, to gerbil like tunnels to run through and ball pits to jump in.
I had to be quick on my toes to get any pictures of the excited boys, so running away shots are as good as it got for the most part.
The boys tended to move in a pack, jumping from one play area to another (with only a few tears in between when the mini-testoterone got to be too much).
In the end, sometimes it's just fun to play with one's siblings...at least for a few seconds!
Like dressing up as dragons! Best $7 I've ever spent for the two of them, which resulted in awesome naps afterwards!

I am with you. We have a few similar kid play palaces a few hours drive in any direction and we try to stop whenever possible--especially when the weather gets too cold for parks.
