Chris and I have been showing and encouraging him to use his potty since he turned two, but he always just grins at us then goes on his merry way whenever we ask him if he needs to go potty. Then a few weeks ago, Chris was using the bathroom and Seth decided to use his potty too. Sure enough, he used it and we all did a potty dance. Chris and I were SO excited, and Seth was more excited that we were excited then anything else. A little while later that same evening, he decided to do his business again (no, I didn't take a picture of that...how disgusting...but I almost did!). We all did a potty dance yet again.
So now, anytime uses his big boy potty, we do a potty dance and cheer like crazy. We're so proud of our big boy!

that is awesome! I am a STRONG supporter of the potty dance :) Austin and I do that every time he uses the big boy potty too.

I told Austin he needs to be prepared because when we have kids there will be lots of dancing around! :)
I'm so glad that we're not the only weirdos out there! I've tried putting together lyrics with the potty dance, but Seth just looks at me (and I think he even said, "Mama, no" when I got a little too silly) so I guess there are limits to the potty dance. Sigh.
