Seth Sells Seashells at the Seashore

Say that line 3 times fast! Actually, it's pretty easy if you say it with a Daffy Duck lisp...not that I would know, or anything.

For the last little while, Seth has been obsessed with seashells. It all started when my Mom pulled some seashells out from some of her earlier travels to keep him entertained, and now anytime we visit, he has to look at seashells and put them in "families" (spiral together, striped ones, flat ones, etc...).

Well, we went to the library and found an Eyewitness video on shells, and Seth watched it multiple times, occasionally commenting in his little three-year-old voice with,

"Hmm, that was interesting."

"Wow. That's a spiky shell."
"Ooh, turtles."
Then, he decided to join in on the action.
He wrapped himself up in the Christmas rug I have yet to put away after seeing this type of shell:

"Look, Mama. I'm in a shell!"

Eliza then wanted to get it on the action, but Seth wasn't about to share his shell, the little hermit crab.

I guess there are still plenty of things to do (and wish for) when cooped up inside during the winter after all!
